Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

[SOLVED] Newest post not going to top of homepage.

After editing the post and updating, sometimes the post does not go to the top of the homepage. The post is saved but in the Post editor it is not in order and therefore the newest post is well down the stack.
Example: viewing post 99, newest post 100 is saved but ATA places it in position 90.
I would rather not do a Sticky and I am going to create a static page soon.
Thanks.

I discovered what the issue was. The "publish date" of the newer post was older than the older post and the posts are published by newest date.

OSX 10.11.5 WP 4.x Atahualpa(all) Safari, Firefox, Chrome
posts are displayed by wordpress in date created order, not date modified. If you want to change the order of where a post shows, you have to change the date created. You might look for a plugin...
