There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi,

I bought a new monitor yesterday that is much much wider than what I used to have. Apparently, square monitors are not sold anymore. Now, on several websites, I noticed that the center column is nice and small (e.g. Facebook) with a lot of empty space left and right, while text on other websites (e.g. Wikipedia) is stretched out horizontally (i.e. the lines are really long), which makes for awkward reading.

My question is, how do I make the center column of my website smaller while still accommodating laptops and square monitors? I see the option in ATO > Style and edit center column, where it says padding: 20px 20px 30px 20px; but I am not sure what the order of the numbers is or what they reference.

I appreciate your help. My site is at http://www.cornetsdegroot.com/

Thanks!

Hi STB,
Thanks a lot!
A max width of 1000 is too small for my purposes, but 1150 seems to be OK (with 770 min width and fluid width 92%).
Kindly,
Rutger
