I upgraded to 3.4.9 and to wp 3.0.1 and now have a few problems.
The first problem is I can't center the container, or even move it left or right for that matter. Then I noticed that I have an error on my web page in internet explorer and maybe that is why nothing is changing.
Can someone help me with this??

Thanks,
Steve

What version did you upgrade from? Did you do automatic or manual upgrades?

I'm not sure, but I can tell you it was several versions ago, 2. something for sure.
Thanks for the quick reply
It was the automatic update.

I would do the following as per this thread:
With all the unknowns it is always possible your site may revert to the default styling after the following. If you want to be extra sure you can get back to the same look and feel then I would make a note of some of the more important setting you made such as in CSS Inserts. This process does work in most cases though and looks a lot more daunting than it is.
- Backup the database and wp-config folder
- Download Atahualpa 3.5.3 from wordpress.bytesforall.com
- Unzip and upload the atahualpa353 folder to your WordPress themes folder where your current atahualpa folder resides
- Activate it and see what happens
- If all is good you are done
- If the problem persists go to ATO>Export/Import Options and hit the Delete bfa_ata4 button
- If you are now back at some default settings you can use the settings you made note of to get your styling back

looks like you didn't move a plugin or a template - are you using the page2cat plugin?

Juggledad,
I didn't deactivate any plugins before I updated the version. I have since deactivated all of the plugins with no luck. And no, I am not using page2cat plugin.
thanks for your help, and thank you too, lmilesw, I am now attempting to upgrade to 3.5.3.

Seems like I have a major issue on my hands. I can now activate either version, but 3.4.9 gives me the error message and the wrong layout (like before), and 3.5.3 gives me a white page with nothing on it. I moved two images from 3.4.9 (a header and the background file) to 3.5.3, I can't see why that would cause that result, oh boy.........if this seems like any easy fix or something simple to anyone I could use some help,
thanks

Very weird. You are going to have to look at your site log to see what error is showing up.
Did you manually install the theme?

I moved the folder I unzipped into the /themes/ folder and from there simply activated it. Did I miss a step?? Didn't see anywhere to install it first or now.

Check the permissions of that folder and the index.php to the other theme folders and index.php - this might be a permissions issue
