Hello,

I am using Atahualpa 3.4.9 in Wordpress 2.9.2. There are no problems!

The two platforms are working perfectly together- so I'm hesitant to update to Atahualpa 3.5 and Wordpress 3. However I need to hand this site over to a client, so I want it to be in the best shape possible.

If I do update, which should I update first, Wordpress or Atahualpa?

Should I upgrade to the most recent versions of both?

I don't think it makes a lot of difference just do one at a time and don't use the auto install for Atahualpa or overwrite the previous Atahualpa installation. That way you can revert back if you have issues. You will need to copy images that are in your current Ata install to the same folder(s) in the 3.5.3 install.

Next take a look at post 2 in this thread regarding a bug in Atahualpa. If you plan to use the new WP 3 menu system (recommended) you don't have to worry about this particular bug though. Now upgrade WordPress and when successful activate the 3.5.3 theme.
