http://winmtr.sourceforge.net/ is a nice little Windows program with which you can check routes from you to a web server.

If you have WinMTR, or would like to install it, could you test hetzner.de with WinMTR as well and post these 3 numbers? X hops, X % packet loss, XXX ms

The site seems pretty fast to me. I couldn't get the winmtr program to work. I click Start and nothing happens.

I'm on a Mac so I didn't try the program. The site loads very fast for me, in New York. I clicked on about 10 different areas and all were fast. We have a fast FIOS home WiFi network.

I did not install the program but the site seems very fast to me. (currently connecting from Michigan)
