Hello,
I tried to search for a solution, but am having no luck. I'm trying to do something very basic- use a text widget in my sidebar. For whatever reason, the text box closes up. I can't add any of the other default widgets that exist either. I tried with the RSS one, the Links, etc. I can't edit any of them, they all instantly minimize. Does anyone know why this might be happening?
I'm running Atahualpa 3.4.6 in Wordpress 2.9.2
I also want to add that I reverted to the default theme and had no issues, so it's something with the theme. I just cannot figure out what!
Thank you!

try disabling all your plugins. If you can add a widget, then add the pluging in a group at a time till you find one that causes the issue

Thank you for your response. I disabled all the plugins (there were only 3) but still the same issue. I have used this theme on various sites and have never seen this issue. Could there be an installation issue? I went through the folders through my ftp client and I don't see any obvious issues..
Thank you again for the help!

The hosts have varied based on who the site was for, but several have been godaddy, which is what this person uses as a host.
The url is: http://twomomsdesigns.com Again, thank you for any insights you can give.

hmmm, that all looks fine. What happens if you use the default theme? Can you put in any widgets then?

Yes, that is what gets me the most. When I revert it to the default theme, I can insert and edit the widgets just fine. What on earth??
I really appreciate you looking into this and working with me. I'm really at a loss.. It has to be something somewhere with the theme if it's not an issue with the others or the default. Any other ideas?

Ok, never mind. Apparantely the wordpress gods have decided it will cooperate after all, after two days of not. I'm just going to go with it..
The only thing I did differently was when I was in the default theme, I had dragged a text widget over to the sidebar. I left it there when I switched back to Atahualpa (for the umpteenth time). Oh well. Thank you for you help!
