Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I am sure that someone asked this before ... I like the Atahualpa theme a lot, simply because of its enormous amount of configuration options. What I would like is to make ALL of the theme's background another color than #000000. I have navigated through all of the theme option menus, but I still get areas in the blog appearing white.
Is there a method to set the general background color ?

You have to set background color for the page, the center column, and the sidebars, etc.

Hi Larry - your answer is as trivial as my question, it seems .... . With the countless options available, I have been trying to change them, until now without much result. I discovered that the options in each box are separated by a newline.... The first option line is visible, the ones following are not. Until you hit the backspace button ... Wondering why the options are not put on one line, so they are visible ?

Thanks,

I'm not sure what you mean by the options are not visible until you hit the backspace button. What I'm talking about is that in several of the areas there is a background-color:#xxxxxx that you change to suit your needs so to have one color you have to change all those separate areas.

This is where you change it. Also if you don't kill the background color you don't see background images before you tear your hair out with dat

Now I understand. You need to use the shorthand for background instead of separate lines. See the following example...
HTML Code:
background:#ffffff url('img_tree.png') no-repeat top right;

kpkes@yahoo.com: several people have un into the issue where the boxes that you put your options are only one link.This is generally a php memory issue or a conflict caused by a plugin.

Events Calendar is one of the ones that seem to cause this. Try disabling your plugins and see if your can then rezise the option boxes.

Hi,

I tried the Theme Option configuration using Safari: in Safari the configuration boxes have a small (parallel lined) button in the far right bottom of the configuration box to enlarge the box. Doing so will enable me to show all options. Strangely this button is not visible in Firefox. This caused me to see only the first line of the configuration style item.
I have played with plugins and add-ons in Firefox enabled/disabled them, but there is no change thus far.

Peter
