Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi guys!

I have another mystery.

I have created 2 sites:

http://www.kerrvillemotel.com
http://www.bestwesternkerrville.com

The page title from the Kerrville Motel site is showing up on the Best Western site! Here are some facts:
  • Both sites' files are located in separate directories under http://www.bestbiztips.com
  • I have searched the functions.php and index.php code of Best Western site files and can find no reference to "Holiday Inn" or "kerrvillemotel"
  • In the WordPress dashboard, the Settings and the Home Page Meta fields all properly reference Best Western

Where do I look to fix this?

Thanks bunches!

I think the page title is the blog title so check Settings > General

Hi Juggledad -

That is very very weird. I created both sites in WordPress using the Atahualpa theme.

The Best Western page title was correct in the beginning. Then it changed to Holiday Inn. Then I double checked everything last week (and it was correct), resaved it, and the page title was correct. Then over the weekend, the page title mysteriously changed back to Holiday Inn - and was that way until this morning. NOW it is correct as the Best Western!!!

Are there gremlins out there?

Good suggestion. The host is GoDaddy. I doubt if anything happened, but you never know! It still defies logic that it would have a totally different page title. Oh well!
