Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi

I have been reading through some of threads on this and looked at the add new widget area.

Do i have to mess about with the code or can I do it through the theme options in 3.4.4.

If i can doi it through theme options admin pages where do i start placing it.

Looking at having an add top right inthe header and centre main footer.

I looked at the sticky, but un sure.

Any easy steps would be most grateful.

Cheers

OSX 10.11.5 WP 4.x Atahualpa(all) Safari, Firefox, Chrome
take a look at ATO->New Widget Area and read the documentation. You can also read the post http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=5419 which is a walk thru putting a new widget area in the sidebar. Not exactly what you want, but it will give you background so you can start to learn how to do it. Give it a try and see how well you do.
