Hello,
I want to add a banner ad in the same spot on all posts. I've added the banner code to a new widget but can only place the widget in the loop, which isn't where I want it to appear. I'd like it to be embedded in the same place in each post. Any help with this will be much appreciated. (I managed to get a banner ad to work in the header of my website--no problem with the side bar either.)
Thanks,
Chloe

Hi,
These are ads that I want to appear above the fold in each post. Is it possbile to do this in the Atahualpa theme?
Thanks for your help,
Chloe

HI,
Yes I did try the kicker but that's not where I want the widget. I'd like to place the ad in the post content about 1/3 down the screen (above the fold). I just can't figure out where to place my widget code to achieve that.
Thanks,
C

I'm not sure what you mean by 'fold' or what you mean by 1/3 down the screen. Do you mean you want to have the ad in the middle of each and every post?

Sorry, that's a print term. I shouldn't have used it. Yes, I mean 1/3 down the screen embedded in the post aligned right. I just don't know where to put my widget code to acheive this.
Thanks again.

there isn't any way I know of to have a widget display in the middle of a post. You might be able to find a plugin that does it, but putting something into the middle of the post has moved into the WordPress area of the code. If you can't find a plugin, you could try posting at wordpress.org
