I was searching this forum for this, to see if it was possible, but couldn't find it, but I'm sure it's possible (or not? ). My question is, if I create a post, can I link that newly created posts comments to another posts comments I already made, so for instance, I can have 2 posts on the same topic where people only use 1 comment page for both? How would I go about getting this to work?

Comments apply to a single post. In database terms it is a one (the Post) to many (the comments) relationship. I beleive that is how the database is structured. If you what to try to change this (make it a many to one), you will have probably some structural coding to do or will have to create a plugin.
