Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hello,

I'm a long time WP user, but very new to actually modding a theme myself, so please bear with me.

I'm using Atahualpa 3.4.4 with WP 2.8.5 and I can't get a logo to display. I have tried gif, png etc but all still show as a broken image. As per some previous discussions, I have looked and my theme folder permissions are set to 777 while the image folder is 755. If I have read correctly, this should be the correct settings.

Any suggestions?

The site url is http://phatink.com

Thanks!

Interesting - I just changed browsers and it actually displays the url now, not a broken image!

OSX 10.11.5 WP 4.x Atahualpa(all) Safari, Firefox, Chrome
make sure the image is in teh atahualpa344/images folder, I don't seee it there.
this is the folder you will see 'logo.gof' and 'huge-logo.gif' in.
If you use one of those two , do you see the logo?

Also check the permission of the actual file.

Wordpress 3.4.1, Atahualpa 3.7.7
Sometimes Firefox has a nasty habit of hanging onto a cached page when it shouldn't.

it is in this directory: /public_html/wp-content/themes/atahualpa344/images/exclusive currently titled phat.gif

Which is where the stock image files were.

The folder is perm 755, but all images in folder are 644 - is this correct

paulae - I have tried with FF, chrome and IE and cleared cache. I have been reading the forums looking for a solution

Atahualpa looks for the LOGO images in the 'atahualpaxxx/images' folder as a default. If you want to gput your image in the subfolder 'exclusive' then you must add that to your logo name so at ATO->Style & edit HEADER AREA->Show Logo Image? - you would code
HTML Code:
exclusive/phat.gif

Looks better, but now I think that font is a bit tough to read. Might need to hunt for something else!
