If you are talking about the header image upload them to the atahualpa/images/header and remove the images that are there

No - you need to read about Wordpress go to wordpress.com

you need to use and FTP program and go to the 'wordpress/wp-content/themes/atahualpa/images/header' folder and delete the images that are there and upload your image

when i log in my password doesent take where do i reset it or get a new one

Yes, you should be I suggest you set your theme to the default theme and get familiar with how to run wordpress before playing with themes.

WP Dashboard->settings->themes pick the Default theme

i did that what u suggested i dont see default themes in settings as u suggested
also i uploaded a photo image it is huge way to big how do i scale it back to a smaller size
