Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hello Members,
I have placed text box widget with 2 pictures and little text and a optin button. I would like to change the background color just for this text box. I n other words my sidebar clor is yellow but the text box and all its contents should have a white background is that possible?
Thanks

yes it is possible. View a page with the widget, then look at the generated source. Locate the widget in the sidebar - There will be a '<table ID=...' and one or more rows with <tr id=...'

With the id of the row, you can now do a CSS insert to change the widget's background color.

Hi,
Sorry Sir I don't quite understan that as I am new to this but I am computer literate. If you would be kind enough to explain in detail it would very helpful, for eg view a page with widget do you mean with dashboard and where is the generated source normally reside I am lost. Have a look if you have the time at www.whoisdilipdabrai.com the jpg of web20 stampede looks a bit terrible with the white aroound the picture.
Thanking you in advance

most browsers allow you to look at the source of a page. On the Mac using Safari, there is an item under the 'View' menubar called 'View Source' - each browser has a similar function. This will allow you to look at the HTML source that was generated to display the page you are on.

As for the white around the image of the 'Web 2.0 Stampede', that is part of the image itself. If you want to remove that, you will need to edit the image and remove it using something like PhotoShop
