Header image is showing on Firefox and Safari but not on iE

Hello, I have a problem with a site I am creating (www.aquilaciencia.es). I have a header image and it shows correctly on Firefox and Safari, but on iE it doesn't show at all. What may the problem be?

Try setting Header Image -> Overlay Blog TAGLINE over Header Image(s)? to No

Thank you for your quick reply, I tried changing that but it istill isn't working. Just for internet explorer, it works ok with Firefox and Safari...

Something is wrong with your image, IE cannot display the image as such either: http://aquilaciencia.es/wp-content/t...ecera_1024.jpg

Actually, the file is a .gif not a .jpg
and it seems to be fine today - shows up in IE*
