Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

When I just checked the site using IE there seems to be a black box around the blog name and title and the centred page menu bar padding is all out of sync also on IE?

But...on Firefox 3.5 the pages look just how I want them?

Is there anyway to sync the two or do i need to login to my wordpress on IE then make the changes there instead of Firefox also?

The site is:

IE is a 'bad' browser (just do a google search with 'css ie vs firefox' and see the problems) - well MS would probably say that all the other browsers are 'bad', at any rate

Some setting you have made is causing IE to put the box arround the titleoverlay. Please set ATO->Configure CSS & JS->CSS: External file or inline? to 'Internal' (What release of Atahualpa are you?) so I can take a look at the other styling you have set.

Thanks Juggledad...I am using 3.4.0...I totally agree on the IE thing and it is crazy how many discrepencies there are between the two...luckily just a few formatting type issues and nothing more major...I guess I should check a few other browsers too?

I donated to you last week so not sure if you have seen that yet?

Thanks for your help..

ok, I can't look at your css due to the bug in Atahualpa in 3.4.0 which the CSS internal/external wasn't working. Please move to 3.4.2 where this is fixed.

Will that change all my edits and input CSS by changing to 3.4.2 or will everything remain the same?

Thanks again

any CSS Inserts will be fine since they are stored n the database. If you have made any coding changes, they will need to be done to the code in the new version (which is why I urge people not to make custom code changes)
