Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I enter the following in the tagline option on setting:

margin: -40 450 90 80 ;
padding: 0;
font-size: 1.2em;
font-weight: bold;
color: #666666;

According to firebug (and visible results) the margins do NOT get passed to the page. Am I doing something wrong?

when you say tag line, do you mean ATO->Post/Page Styling->Footer?

Hi JD and thank you for your reply.

No... ATO-->Header Area --> Blog Tagline.

I just recreated it, something changed since 3.4.0.1 - I'll find it in a bit

Cool.

BTW, is the fact that PAGES I made into menu headers (while selecting the option that menu headers dont lead to a page themselves) can not be shown in the editor intentional?

duh (head slap) your margin statement is wrong, you need 'px' after each number so it should be
HTML Code:
margin: -40px 450px 90px 80px;

PAGES?? Explain more, I'm slow tonight

I will try that! Thank you!

Let me explain about the pages.

Say I have a page, with plenty of HTML. I made that page a parent of drop down menu. I can edit same page no problem.

Now-IF

I change the setting on depth of menu to indicate that only sub-pages can be accessed, that same page, when i try to edit it via the dashboard, presents a page titled "edit" but with zero content...no call to TinyMCE or anything.
