Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Using BuddyPress with WordPress. If I add functions to functions.php under the Atahualpa theme folder, it breaks the site. When I go to Atahualpa (3.7.24) Theme Options to enter HTML Inserts, it says PHP code cannot be used anymore.

How do I incorporate function snippet with this theme?

Thanks in advance.

OSX 10.11.5 WP 4.x Atahualpa(all) Safari, Firefox, Chrome
In this case iWork's create a child theme and add the functions to its function.php

However, it should work if you put them in the themes function.php

When you say it 'breaks the theme' how?

Thank. A child theme should do it - just tested. I tried it a while back but I guess I had problems with my functions.php and the site won't load.
