I must start by apologising for being so vague.
Not even sure if this is the right place for help, here goes.
A long time ago, a few years, I liked the look of someones Atahualpa site and they sent me the settings to change mine. I managed to change it but now I have noticed some of the options such as the read more option and navigation options for forward and back, are in German or Dutch?

I tried uninstalling the theme and reinstalling but I still have the same settings.
I don't want to go back to square one, can anyone help?

I want to relearn again how to change the theme but it has been a while so want to be careful I don't mess it up.

Ideally, I suppose, would be just to add some new settings that make it look nice, then begin tweaking.

try checking the theme options, specifically the
Configure EXCERPTS
"Read More" tag
