The various sidebar shortcode plugins work great for getting shortcodes in the standard widget areas. However, I created some footer widget areas and it's not recognizing the shortcodes. I tried a few different shortcode-enabling plugins but nothing's kicking in.

I'm sure it's just inserting some PHP code somewhere. Anyone got the answer for this? Thanks!

I just tried shortcode ultimate and put in a footer widget and it worked fine for me. Try disabling ALL other plugins and if that doesn't work, give a lot more detail about the issue.

Shortcode Ultimate did the trick. Sidebar Shortcodes and a few others didn't work, so that's good to know!
