I want to add blog postings on 2 different pages. I've changed the page virtual template to "Index". But how do I submit postings to this page only?

All posts are…posts. You would have to assign the posts to different categories and display one category in each page.

Okay, sending now. I also have another issue. I've created a static home page but now do not know what link to use for the actual blog.

If you want a static page for the home page and another for teh blog page, just create a page, call it 'blog' the at dashboard->settings->reading->Front page displays and set 'Posts Page:' to 'Blog' (or what ever name you gave it.

I think the easiest way to do this would be to assign a category to your posts then create a WP custom menu (dashboard->appearances-Menu) and add the category as one of the menu items.

When someone clicks on the category menu item, they will go to a page with just the posts in that category
