Well, I screwed up somehow and managed to the blog post title in the category menu bar—twice.
I'm wondering how I did it, and how I can remove them.

i don;t see any issue - you also have a caching plugin active so changes make take time to showup...

Assuming you are not using a custom WPmenu, then the items in the category menu are the categories you have created. You can change category names at dashboard->posts->categories.
