Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I am reposting this question because the original 3-year-old thread is closed and the advice there, is no longer usable because, as the notices on taht screen say, "Since 3.6.5 PHP code cannot be used anymore in HTML/CSS Inserts."

May I ask for an update on doing this?

Thanks

You mean the red box next to billy Holliday?
If so, that is the left border and set in the widget styling.

in style widgets I see how to change the color but I want to totally remove that object so the text is flush left to the line.

If there is a configuration there to do that. I am not seeing it and would appreciate advice on whatever i am missing.

Thank you for your help.

Thanks. that worked.

While on this subject, I would like to introduce a half-line of space between the individual items in that same menu. Where is that configured?

I appreciate the help!

I'm not sure what you mean by a half line space but to add some space between the different list items for that particular widget you would use something like the following.
HTML Code:
#categories-4 li {
    margin-bottom: 10px;
}
