what does this mean?
"/home/content/97/11082397/html/wp-content/ata-images/header/ - wp-content
the folder permission or path to your header image folder is incorrect "
The only thing I can think of that might have caused this is I clicked on
the "Updates" right underneath the "Home" tab on the left hand margin of the
WordPress page...When I did that...EVERYTHING changed - that's when I lost
all settings that we had put in...

Did you move your favicon into the wp-root/ata-images folder?

So...how many header images do you have in the ata-images/header folder? after all you are using the %images in the 'Configure Header Area' option.

if you are going to use %logo, the logo image goes in the new folder you create - ie the 'ata-images' folder. If you use %image3s, you need to create a folder inside 'ata-images' called 'header' so you have
wp-root
- ata-images
- header
and all your header images go in teh header folder
header images go in the ata-images/header folder
logo goes in ata-images folder
favicon goes in ata-images folder

I didn't do anything, but I suspect you removed the %images from teh 'Configure header Area' option.
