When I remove this code, %tags-linked('Tags: ', ', ', ' | ')% from the FOOTER: Multi Post Pages, the tags are still showing up on the multi post pages.

They are showing up on the front page (which happens to display multiple posts). If you go to page two of your blog, you will see that they are gone.

You need to remove that code from the ATO -> Post/Page Info Items -> FOOTER: Homepage, in addition to the FOOTER: Multi Post Pages.

I removed the tags from the footer on the home page and that worked as you indicated to remove them from all the multi post pages.

The other multi post pages were showing the tags even though I deleted the code. What you were seeing is many of the posts have no tags.

Anyway the issue is resolved as I do not want them showing anywhere except on the single post page.
