Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

it often happens that I have a post or page on my site change.
I want an opportunity adder to indicate what when and why I post or page adapted, as you can also on some forums when you edit your topic
I wonder if there is any way to this info a fixed location to give the bottom of the post or page

I'm not totally clear on what you want but if you are looking to put a date of the last update on a page look in the Edit Post/Page Info Items in the theme options.

I would like to ad a cusom entry/line in page and post where you can ad the reason for edeting a page or post(as some forums do have when you edit a tread you've made)

WP itself does not have this kind of funtionallity as i've already asked for in WP- forum

add a custom field to the posts - you can fill it in with what ever you want, call it 'reason_for_update'
then at ato->Edit POST/PAGE INFO ITEMS, you could add the meta field to the byline - you would use
%meta('reason_for_update')% in this case

thanks juggledad for your respond.

I'm not quite sure where to place "add a custom field to the posts" / or how to create such a custom field.
as for %meta('reason_for_update')% I did put it in: Edit POST/PAGE INFO ITEMS - BYLINE: "Page" Pages

Custom fields are a WordPress feature. go to dashboard->posts and edit a post and look for the section 'Custom Fields' if you don't see it click the 'screen options' tab at the top right of the screen and check it off'

if you need more help adding a custom field, do a google search. I'm sure there are much bette explainations than I could give.
