Hi all, well I think I am getting old. Been away for a while( in UK for 8 months with no internet access) and now I have come back to my page I have forgotten everything I learned and how I did all the settings.
Anyway I opened my WP site with Atahualpa ver 3.6.4 and updated wordpress to 3.4.1 and now noticed that when I click on any 'archives' in the right hand bar the background changes to white and a graphic is repeated across the top. The 'pages' widget just below is fine, everything else seems to be working fine.

Any suggestions on were to look, is this Atahualpa problem or a WP update problem,

I am not certain with that version of Atahualpa. First I would check in the older versions updating forum to see if there are any suggested patches.

in your CSS Inserts you have a CSS rule '.date {...}' This says for ANY element that has a class of 'date' apply these rules.

Guess what an archive does? It assigns the class of 'archive' and 'date' to the <body...> so all those rules are applied causing the issue.

try changing the selector to '.post-kicker .date' and see what happens

I tried putting .post-kicker in front of .date and it cured the problem of the background but the graphic behind the date has disappeared on all posts. Why should this have changed on a WP update as it worked fine before, with the old code.

I cannot believe how much I have forgotten in 8 months.

I am using ATA ver 3.6.4

it looks like you took it out again so I can't see what problem it may have cause or if you made a typo (??)

It is working now, your idea of typo made me re-look. What I had done was put .post-kicker.date without the space between kicker and .date .post-kicker _.date
