Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I really love this theme and it should work perfectly for my site, all I need is for the fotomoto plugin to work, so far it doesn't, they also provide a script but I tried inserting it and it didn't work either. Anyone have any ideas? fotomoto allows you to add buy print options to images.

Thanks John

Versions? Link to plugin? Where did you try the script? URL?

I'm on the newest version of Atahualpa and Wordpress. fotomoto.com is the site and the plugin is http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fotomoto/. The plug-in doesn't claim to work with every theme but I'm just trying to make it work. The script is on the settings page and is designed for a regular non wp site: Please copy the following code to the bottom of your website or blog template, just before the </body> tag:
HTML Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://widget.fotomoto.com/stores/script/bda7e18f1010a637e2b6682e6e08784d6d9f5f4e.js"></script>
<noscript>If Javascript is disabled browser, to place orders please visit the page where I <a href="http://my.fotomoto.com/store/bda7e18f1010a637e2b6682e6e08784d6d9f5f4e">sell my photos</a>, powered by <a href="http://my.fotomoto.com">Fotomoto</a>.</noscript>
I tried to put it in the add css section of Atahualpa options in the box that seemed to apply

My website is larosablancaphoto.com
The only page I've really adjusted is the test in the links on the top. Right now I don't have the plug-in or the script active. I tried to put the script into the Atahualpa Theme Options: Add HTML/CSS inserts, under HTML Inserts: Body Bottom.

Yes fotomoto is definitely not my site they are a third party printing service. I'd like to be able to have a way for clients to see an image and click print and then have a third party take care of payment and printing. Fotomoto provides this and it is really pretty cool. I am not at all opposed to any other options which may work for a similar result.

Thanks so much for your help.

So did you activate the plugin with a key?

where did you get the code you put in 'HTML Inserts: Body Bottom'?

Yes I activated the plug-in with the key fotomoto gave me. The code comes from fotomoto.com. They give it to you if you say you are building a website from scratch. (also I'm working on my site right now so it may look a little funny for a bit.

So I'm still at it. I guess there just isn't an easy way to have a great customizable wordpress theme and easy print ordering in one. I tried putting the script into the top of the index.php file but it didn't seem to work.

If anyone is interested in making this work for atahualpa fotomoto definitely wants more working themes.

in the first post you stated the script was for NON WP SITES. Why are you trying to use it?

I'm sure that fotomoto can be made to work with Atahualpa, however it will take some digging.
If you don't have the skill set to dig in and figure it out, I'll be happy to give you a quote to do it for you (send me PM)

But having to sign up for an account from them to test the plugin for you is way beyond the free support I'm willing to give. I do have paying customers that get my priority

Thanks so much juggledad. I totally understand not wanting to do all of that and I really appreciate the help. I actually got it working now using the plugin they provide. It seems you either have to have an image in an "attachments" page or an image with some sort of viewer like lightbox etc. One thing which is weird is that if you visit the site while still logged in to wp it won't show the buy bar. I think the wp options bar just coincides perfectly with the purchase bar. Otherwise so far so good, also I can't seem to get the bttons to move but that seems like a fotomoto problem.

Thanks again, I'll keep reporting as to how well it works and try to keep you posted.
