the default border styling on menu list items creates a double border along the left and right sides, so i thought to give my menu items a right border as a way to set them apart from one another.

i used this code:

#menu2 li {border-right: 1px solid orange;}

but it gave me a border on only the last item (one at the right end).

is there something else I should use to get a right border on each category 2 menu list item?

first, thank you for your reply.

it seems to be working fine now. did it last night using orange as a test color and had only one orange line at the end and to the right of the sub menus. when i couldn't get it to change i took it off and posted my query.

went back in today to recreate it for you and, voila! it worked fine. not sure why...i would expect if it were a typo it wouldn't have worked at all.

anyway, all is good now.
