Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

... So take a look, and as always, please check your themes and plugins for compatibility if you’re a developer.

WordPress 3.3 Release Candidate 3

Quote:
The third (and hopefully final!) release candidate for WordPress 3.3 is now available. Since RC2, we’ve done a handful of last-minute tweaks and bugfixes that we felt were necessary.

Our goal is to release version 3.3 early next week, so plugin and theme authors, this is your last pre-release chance to test your plugins and themes to find any compatibility issues before the final release. We’ve published a number of posts on the development blog that explain important things you need to know as you prepare for WordPress 3.3. Please review this information immediately if you have not done so already.

I did this update this morning on my multi-site install, and I'm happy to report that all of our sites upgraded without a glitch; the new features look fantastic.

If you don't want to worry about backing up, I highly recommend the BackupBuddy plugin. It allows you to backup on a regular basis to Amazon S3. I sleep much better at night.

Good to hear that the coast is clear re moving up to WP 3.3 -- I received a personal email from Matt Mullenwegg letting me know that 3.3 had officially hit the bricks.

I have a double WP install on my test site -- two instances of WP using the same database. I did the AUTO update to WP 3.3 on both those WP installs and all went well -- very smooth.

I guess I'm all set to update the real site.
