Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I have made a static page for my home and placed a swf using Kimili flash embed, i'm trying to set the properties to 100% width and height but there is something that is cutting the bottom end of the image.

I also tried modifying the "scale" property.
noborder = the image is squashed to 50% its original size
showall = image stretches sideways ok, but it crops bottom and top
exactfit = same as noborder

I nested the swf inside a table with border 1 to see what is going on and i can see the bottom border is missing.
It gets worse in firefox where the table with the swf is only about 10 px tall and it's not even showing the swf.

here is an image of what is going on

did you try changing the height and width in the swf?

I did
this happens when i use % values instead of fixed pixel values
it works fine on all browsers using fixed values.
It Breaks when I put 100% W/H on all browsers and completely disappears in firefox.

I have been reading around and it seems to be a problem with xhtml and the object tag. Some say changing the DOCTYPE to older versions fix this. Or using JS.

Right now im about to give up and use pixel values.

This is something where I usually use px for height but here is an article that may help. You have to set the containing element(s) to 100% so the element you want at 100% knows what to be 100% of.
