Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Sorry, I know I'm stating that badly. Page is here: http://madeinamericaholidaygiftsandcrafts.com/

First, am I right in calling the red bar with the white text at the top the Header?

I want the words to remain in a fixed location, no matter how wide the window is. In the Photoshop file that I created, the text is centered, and I've also tried it flush left (gets cut off if the window goes narrow). Is there a way to always have it aligned with the left part of the center column? Can you help?

THANKS!! ETA, illustration of what the problem is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pocketm...9426/lightbox/

that is the 'header image' and is a PART of the header. the menus, logos. horbar 1 and 2 and any widget areas or extra html you add to the 'Configure Header Area' all make up the header

go to ago->Header Image and play with the 'Header Image: Alignment' option

You might also create a "logo" with just the text you want as a transparent png file and then set the background color for the header to the red you want. The logo will stay where you want it.
