Hello, I'm having a novel problem and I hope you can help.
I am designing a website using Atahualpa and WordPress (my usual MO), and everything is going as per usual except that the space that occurs after punctuation that appears in the middle of sentences (commas, semi-colons, etc.) does not show.
See the attached screen shot where the red arrows point.
This problem is consistent across browsers (FF, Chrome, Safari), and disappears when I switch themes. It persists when all plug-ins are deactivated.
And yes, there really are spaces in the text.
I also tried changing the text encoding setting in the browsers with no effect.
Versions:
Atahualpa 3.6.7
WP 3.2.1
This site is hidden during building, but if it helps I can PM an admin log-in.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Do you have the 3.6.7 PATCHES applied? Here are the links. - PATCH 367-01: Odd effects when 'CSS: Compress' = 'Yes'
- PATCH 367-02 is incorporated in PATCH 367-04
- PATCH 367-03: PHP errors when adding widget areas in index.php
- PATCH 367-04: Hovering over a Post/Page title only shows "Permanent Link to"
- PATCH 367-05: Site Title appended after the 'WordPress SEO by Yoast' title

try two things
1) disable all plugins to see if there is one causing this. If that doesn't work
2) temporarily swap to Twenty-eleven and see if the issue is there also

Thanks for the response. Yes, I have already tried that.
The plug-ins don't affect it one way or the other.
Switching to another theme makes the problem go away.
Thanks again.

You do not have the patches applied for 3.6.7

Okay, that's odd. I had applied the patches -- all of them, myself, by hand.
I just re-applied them and the problem is fixed.
Okay, then. Thanks!
