I'm using Atahualpa 3.6.7 in Wordpress 3.2.1

I've set up the page menu in the dashboard, but it does not appear on the page. Where the page menu should be it simply displays: #pages

The combination of 3.6.7 and WP 3.2.1 works fine on three other sites. I must be missing something really obvious!

Any suggestions as to how to go about debugging this?

What do you mean by this? Where in the dashboard?

Or perhaps you have #pages instead of %pages

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I set up the menus in Dashboard>Appearance>Menus.

But Lmilesw was right, I made a bonehead mistake: I typed #pages instead of %pages in Dashboard>Appearance>AtahualpaThemeOptions>Style&E ditHEADERAREA>ConfigureHeaderArea

...then I stared right at it at least a dozen time without seeing it.
