Right now my comments are structured like this:

[Name]
[Date] [Reply]
This is their comment.

I want to change it to this:

[Name says:]
[Date]
This is their comment.
[Reply]

So basically I want to add the word "says" after the commenter's name, I want to move the "Reply" link to the bottom of the comment instead of the top, AND I want that reply link to be an image rather than a text link.

Any help making any of this actually happen would be greatly appreciated.

I think you would have to edit the comments.php file to do that. If you start playing with that make sure and save a backup copy of the file just in case.

Figured it would take some messing around in that file. I'll see what I can do... thanks!

And another related question. Right now the comment text wraps around the avatar. I'm trying to make it so that all of the comment text stays off to the side of the avatar and never leaks under it.

Make any sense?
