Atahualpa 3.6.7, Wordpress 3.1.3, Powerpress 2.0.3
Powerpress is a plugin for adding podcasts. I have been using it for a long time with ATA & Wordpress. The most recent upgrade to ATA caused the Flash Audio Player to stop appearing below each post. Blubrry tech support advised " There is some sort of caching plugin that is modifying the lines of code, making all the HTML into 1 line which means the javascript for the player will not execute. Try turning off plugins one by one so we can figure out which plugin is causing the problem."
I turned off all plugins (Except Powerpress) and that did not help so I restored them all.
Next, I selected the Twenty-Ten theme and used the Preview option. My player was visible once again and worked as it should. Next I selected the Default theme and used the preview option. Once again the player is visible AND my advertising reappeared. It didn't appear in 20/10 because that theme preview apparently didn't have a column to display the widget.
So, my testing reveals 2 items that require javascript appear to be broken by 3.6.7. Switching themes appears to fix things, but I don't want to abandon Atahualpa.
Any advice?
More information:
The player is described as "Flow Player Classic is an open source flash player that supports both audio (mp3 and m4a) and video (mp4, m4v and flv) media files. It includes all the necessary features for playback including a play/pause button, scrollable position bar, ellapsed time, total time, mute button and volume control. Flow Player Classic was chosen as the default player in Blubrry PowerPress because if its backwards compatibility with older versions of Flash and support for both audio and video. "
My advertising is provided by a network I belong to. They provide a javascript code fragment which I paste into a text widget box so it appears in the left side column. I can provide that script privately but I can't post it publicly.
