I have two posts showing on my home page. But from my category menu I need there to be a list of all post excerpts tied into that category.

I have my site set up so that two posts show up on the home page. One is sticky and the other is the second most recent post. In my category menu I have a menu item called All Stories which I want to displays all stories that are composed with and saved with the All Stories category checked.

When I click All Stories in menu, which should list stories, it only lists two stories and looks like the home page. I want the All Stories menu category to show a list of stories and excerpts.

I have it set in the Wordpress settings to display 2 posts, but I only want that for the home page.

There are a few options as I see it. You could perhaps use the custom query template in the Tutorials section of the Gold forum (be sure and select the right one).

Or maybe you could use either the List Category Post or the Posts per Cat plugin. I have used the List Category Posts plugin and know that would work. I have not tested the Posts per Cat plugin but it looked interesting at first glance.

Addendum...
I just looked some more at the Posts per Cat plugin and it is more involved and would require editing theme files. I therefore would not recommend it.

"lmilesw suggested I install this template. It works, however, I still can't overide the WP Setting posts number. I set the number at two posts because that is the total number of posts I want to display on the homepage. However on the page "All Stories"' I want to display all posts.

The page still displays 2 posts. I can't over ride the WP setting. So, how do I display all the posts on page "All Stories" and only two posts on the home page? Using 3.6.7 with that 3.6.7 template.
