I know that this problem is not exclusive to Atahualpa, but this is such a responsive and knowledgable forum, and I need help fast.

I'm running the most recent Wordpress and ATA 3.61. (i think, I cant' get in to check)

I was auto updating a feedburner plugin and accidentally hit the back button on my browser. Now I seem to be stuck in Maintenance Mode. I had it set such that as administrator, I would always be able to see the site regardless of MM, but that seems not to be the case.

Help?

You probably just need to delete the .maintenance file in the root of your site.

This has happened to me a few times, too. I don't recall it happening until recently. Must be a "feature" of a recent update to WP, don't you think? It's true: all you can do is go in via FTP and delete the maintenance file, unless there is another method I haven't figured out yet.

I think it was introduced with WP V3

Another reason to do 'manual' upgrades, even of WP!
