What can I do to make save setting faster

I have tried this new version 3.6.1 with WP 3.0.4.
Since I used version 3.5, I have a problem of each Atahualpa "save setting" What can I do to make save setting faster. Please help.

Can you explain a bit more. There was 3.5.3 but no 3.5 and what do you mean about slow saving?

Hi Juggledad,
When I do customization to the Themes in ATO then I save it by clicking "Save Changes" it takes approximately 30seconds but in previous version (I am sorry I didn't remember) it only take approx. 6 second with the same Network speed. Even I use it with wordpress Off-line Mode (=localhost)

who is your host?
what is the url?
please attach a copy of your settings to a reply (ato->export/import settings)

how big is your database - how many records?
when was it last optimized?
how much php memory do you run with?

I am using it in localhost yet (on my computer) it's not uploaded to my page online due to this "slow saving" Records is not so many it's only 150 postings.
Your last 2 questions please teach me how to set it up.

you can use phpmyadmin to optimize it, or get the plugin wp-dbmanager

if you are running this on your local site then you are responsible for tuning your site and looking at all the logs to see what might be happening. If you don't know how to do this, then you need to find a friend who can help you or you need to hire someone to help.

Hi Juggledad, I have tried to install wp-dbmanager and optimize the database. It doesn't work.
I try to empty all data, didn't work.
I open one new url using atahualpa theme with no post. http://www.best.forinternetmarketer.com
I have found the same issue. I am using the latest WP version.

Now it shows up. Do you know that over 1000 other sties are hosted on that server. That's a lot of competition for the server's resources. (see domaintools.com)

Hi Juggledad, I always thank you for your time to reply..
I know a lot of sites hosted in that server, but when I do it in localhost (in my computer off line) the same things happen. It takes 30-40 seconds to save any option I have made even I just click "Save Changes" without change anything. Others themes with several option also has tested. It was NOT took so long, approx. 5-6 seconds only. Anyway are there any feedback like this to bytesforall?
