BUG 1

I installed ATA 3.6.1 (as a second theme, so I could seamlessly go back to 3.5.3 if need be) and discoverd that one of my key menu color styles is ignored now. I have my menus set to transparent if not hovered over or if not the active page (as noted in the post http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=11303 )

Namely, I'm using this CSS insert:

div#menu1 ul.rMenu {
	background: transparent !important;
	border-bottom: 1px solid #000066;
}
.menu-item {
	background: transparent !important;
}

Now, under 3.6.1, it ignores the special call to make the body of the menu items transparent, and resorts to the color set in the theme's menu options (which I have set to a nice neon green to stand out as I debug).

BUG 2

3.6.1 shows all of my pages in the page menu, including the one I have turned off (that is, not enabled in the WP 3.0.4 menu control settings). Furthermore, it entirely ignores the order I have set for those menus in the WP 3.0.4 menu control settings.

issue 2 - so you are using a handcrafted wordpress menu but it's showing all pages?

Problem possible in the same area, but no customization. Menu 1 (Page Menu), "Border around all menu items". Border and border color seem to have no effect. I change it to a 10px contrasting color, but no border appears. Menu 2 seems mostly normal, except that IE8 shifts the borders a pixel or 2 to the right compared to FF and Chrome.

Sorry, I'm not going to leave it this way. I'll just remove the all menu borders for now.

issue/bug 1: I've attached my exported settings. I went back to ATA 3.5.3 for now, and so this is exported from ATA 3.5.3.

I think we are saying the same thing. I am using the WP 3.0.4 menu control to select which pages are appearing in the menu, and one of my pages is deliberately not included, but ATA 3.6.1 does include it anyhow.

Please switch back to 3.6.1 and then go to dashboard->appearances->menu and make sure your menu has been selected. I suspect it was not and this was causing both issues

If your menus are selected, please test it again.

I have found that when switching to a new theme that the WordPress Menu setting in dashboard->appearances->menu gets lost and have to be reset - I'm sure it would be described as a WordPress 'Feature'!!

This seems to have been precisely the problem... I'll continue to toy with it before I mark this thread as solved. Thanks!
