Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Greg's Comment Numbering Plugin and Styling

I installed the plugin today and followed the directions in the forum on how to get it to work. Works no problems. However the styling is UGLY!

Before I installed it my replies to commenters were inside a purple box. That is now gone. Also you can see how the lines are not lined up on comments now. I want the first letter of each line to be under one another.

You can see what I mean at http://www.noliesplace.com/blog/2011...blog-giveaway/

Any help would be appreciated.

Anyone? I only still have it up to show to help explain. If I can't get it to look how it did before the plugin I am going to just get rid of the plugin.

I am having this same problem. Installed the plugin, edited the comments.php per the solved thread (http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=1303) and the numbering does work great.

The only problem is that takes away the styling (removes my highlighted author commenting styling, makes avatar smaller). Is there a way to fix this?

And without (how it should look)

edited to add I am running the latest updates of both Wordpress and AtA

i have the plugin deactivated and removed the edits but can put them back if you'd like to see what I'm talking about?

Just wondering if this has been resolved yet. I also added the comment numbering to my blog and it has shifted my comments. See here: http://thesteadyhandblog.com/5-amazo...card-giveaway/.

Is there a way to make the number smaller? or at least to get my "Reply" back to where it was?

Thank you!

As far as I know it has not been resolved. I ended up uninstalling the plugin because I wanted to keep my format how it was.

Thanks for letting me know. I will give it another couple weeks and see if someone can resolve it. I really want my comments to be numbered, helps with my giveaways. Thanks!
