Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I must have deleted something by mistake but don't know what!
Although all my Posts are still their and categorized under "Announcements", they are not showing on the Home Page anymore. All my other Pages are fine.

The only way I can make at least one pf the Posts show is by making it a "Sticky" one. I used to be able to simply "Add New" under POSTS and everything would work fine. Can anyone help me.

I am not very knowledegable with WP, but have been doing well for over a year simply following the written directions that the Website builder left me. Any help will be very appreciated please.
Thank you
Toni

What version of Atahualpa and WP?
What is the url of the site?
What do you have the front page set to display (dashboard->settings->Reading)?

I don't know what Atahualpa is? WP Version is 3.0.3.
Site is: www cupe3913 on ca
Front Page Displays is "Latest Posts"
Something I did deleted the categories that came with the site when I inherited it. I had intended to remove only one of the categories (since we weren't using it anymore). But I must have removed more than one. The Posts that used to show up on the main page all reverted to "Uncategorized". I created a new category again as "Announcements" and regategorized all 100 of the posts. But they still won't show. The only way I coould show at least the last one of the Posts (Saying that the office is closed) is by making it a "Sticky". So I don't know what I'm missing. All the other pages are fine. But if I try to create a new Page called "Home", then I start getting two pages called "Home". The Page that used to be called "Home" before does not show in the list of Pages. I can't remember if it ever did really, or whether it is something that is automatically generated.
Any help is much appreciated. Again, please, I am not very knowledgeable with this. I have been keeping the site updated by following closely the directions left for me by the previous webmaster.
Sincerely
Toni

Atahualpa is the Theme that this forum supports. You are using another theme so we can't help you, you will have to go ask the developer of the theme you are using...unless you switch to Atahualpa then we could help you. Good luck.
