There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I am new to web design and Wordpress. Im looking into starting a company which provides small businesses with a simple and affordable web/web-marketing solution. I used the trial for artisteer to create a template and I liked it for the most part.

My Question:Will Themeframe provide me with the same capabilities as Artisteer plus more without any coding?

In a word Yes.. I have both Artisteer and Themeframe and by far ThemeFrame is more versatile. Artisteer is a great program, don't get me wrong, but ThemeFrame just takes it to the next level. But, with that being said, remember ThemeFrame is still in beta so expect a few bugs.

ThemeFrame does not have the built in backgrounds and things that Artisteer does.

Okay, Thanks for the response and that answers my question. On a side note, would themeframe help me with set or purchased themes? I am starting to think it might be best to offer pre-built themes until I have more experience but additional customization would be nice.

Nor can you edit existing themes with Artisteer. (I also use both)

Each program can only edit themes created in the respective program. Why? you might ask.

Themes can be written in many different ways, and all be correct. The theme generating program (Themeframe, or Artisteer) cannot possibly read all these variations. In fact, they don't even "read" their own generated themes, they are edited through their respective project files.
