Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Menu Bar Appearance

Using 3.5.3

I can't get my page menu bar to look as I would like it.

http://idi-news.co.uk/

Firstly I've not put a title on the home page as it looks silly so the title is blank. I've used the theme option to have a "home" link but it isn't a nice rectangle like the other page links.

Then the rest of the black menu bar is not the same size as the menu items - it's thinner and looks ugly

Finally I'd like to put this image http://idi-news.co.uk/img/idiblack.jpg in teh menu bar - right aligined - no repeat. This means I need to make the menu bar 38 pixels deep. I've read various threads in here but I think they're trying to achieve something more complex and I don't understand the discussions.

Any help appreciated.

OSX 10.11.5 WP 4.x Atahualpa(all) Safari, Firefox, Chrome
add this to your CSS Inserts
HTML Code:
div#menu1  {
background: #000 url(http://idi-news.co.uk/img/idiblack.jpg) no-repeat  right top;
}
div#menu1 ul.rMenu {
	background: transparent;
	border: solid 1 px #000000;
	height: 38px;
	}
note you will need to adjust the font size for the menu

Thanks that's great. However the menu items and the menu bar still do not match. There's a 1 or 2 pixel difference. http://idi-news.co.uk/
