I suspect this is a FAQ, but I lack the vocabulary to ask the question properly.

With Atahualpa from wordpress.org, installed on WP 2.9 if the browser window was comparatively narrow only the center of the header image was displayed. As I widened the browser, more of the header image was displayed.

I upgraded to WP 3.01 and Atahualpa 3.5.3. Now the image is displayed smaller and it remains the same size no matter how wide the browser is.

I'd like to have the image-revealing effect I had on WP 2.9 and the older Atahualpa. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

For anyone else who has this problem: You want the "fluid" format.

Go to Atahualpa Options -> Style and Configure Layout. Set "Layout WIDTH and type (FLUID or FIXED)" to a percent value. That will progressively unveil/conceal the image as you expand and contract the browser.
