Great Theme with great options!
I have one question about the styling of the header. I want to create a number of static pages on my site and can't find the options for this. Can it be done or is this template for blogs only?

You can do just about anything with this theme. What kind of different static pages do you want to create? In other words how would the static pages differ from one another?

I would like to be able to have some pages without header image or different image for different pages. I would also like to have different sidebar layouts.

This Theme is set out very differently from the others I have used, that make use of page templates that you can select when you create each page.

I am a fan of all the features already but need this type of ability. Can you help?

For the header images you could use the Dynamic Headers plugin. You would use the code given in place of %image in ATO>Style & edit Header Area.

For different sidebar layouts you could either use the boxes in ATO>Style & configure Sidebars to exclude the sidebars on certain pages or you could use the instruction in the Gold forum to build a no sidebar page template but this does require a $20 donation to enter. The instructions make use of a modified and renamed index.php. This may give you insight on how to create your own page templates.

Hey,

I just wanted to swing by and post how I have achieved a great solution to the issue I was having difficulty getting my head around, page formatting.

In the past I have used themes that have the ability to add custom page templates, this is a great way to build a CMS site with Wordpress. However this is not how Atahualpa works (yes I know its possible-see JUGGLEDAD'S custom query template).

I found my solution another way with the use of 'add new widget areas' and the use of image widgets, and custom php widgets. The true power of this template I'm still coming to terms with, but like the moderators keep saying on this forum, I think you can just about do anything you can think of.

So, thanks to Flynn for this fantastic theme and I urge anyone who is thinking about using it to give it a go.
