Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi,

I've been messing around with Atahualpa for a few months now and have really found this forum to be a GREAT resource. Thank you to all who contribute.

I tried searching for this without success so today I am making my first inquiry.

I'd like to remove the center column background on www.andreasthomson.com so all you see is the background image and text.

I'm using WP 3.0.1 and AT 3.5.3. My inspiration was www.about.me, but with a vanity url. Lifehacker.com has a free download to do so, but I thought "I'll try this via Atahualpa." I'm really a hobbyist and don't know PHP. I know enough CSS to know I don't know enough, and enough HTML to be a danger to myself.

Thank you in advance.

What text do you want to see? It already looks like you have a background image and text.

There are some instructions on how to create a spalsh page in the Gold forum (requires $20 donation to access).

Hi Larry,

Yes, I have the image and the text, but there is still a large white rectangular box at the top of the page. (I think that is the content container, but I could be wrong.) That's what I am looking to eliminate.

I haven't joined Gold yet because this really is just me wasting time, but I might join.

Thanks,
Andreas

To get rid of the items that are are on that particular post you would add the following to ATO>Add HTML/CSS Inserts>CSS Inserts
HTML Code:
div#post-2 {background:transparent !important;border:none;}
OR you can go to ATO>Style Posts & Pages and remove background and border lines for Post Container and/or Post Container: Sticky
