There is this hidden, empty banner which I think is the reason for the spacing. But if I delete it or change values my formatting completely goes away...

I also noticed that my </div> was red, does this mean that it is not closed correctly? Most of it does seem to work correctly right?

That banner is where the site title/tag line go - do you have them filled in in the WP options?

No they are completely empty. Is there a way to actually "delete" them? They are just blank. It only shows when I get near the "ipad" resolution.

do this, fill in the site title and the look at the site and tell me what code you think should be removed.

Because it checks for the site title and since I have a logo, this is not necessary! Thanks again!
